I was born in Rockford, Illinois. My family moved from Illinois to New Jersey to Wisconsin and back to Illinois. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a degree in History, Political Science, and Broadfield Social Sciences. I started my teaching career in Williams Bay in 1990. In 2000, I completed my Masters Degree in Education from Aurora University. I have taught all of the courses offered by our department grades 7-12 at one point or another over the years.
Besides teaching, I am actively involved in extracurriculars here in Williams Bay. I am probably best known as the “voice of the bulldogs” during home football games. During the theatrical performances, you can find me back stage with my DeWalt drill in hand building the set. I have coached flag football, golf, and boys basketball as well.
While teaching here, I met my wife, Maggie, who is an elementary teacher. We have two children. Erin is a freshman in high school and Matt is in fifth grade.
