ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR: 4/10/18

·         Today is a B day for the middle school

 

·         Congratulations to the math team.

 

·         Good luck to the following teams:

o   Girls Softball at Horicon at 5:00 pm. Bus departs at 2:00 pm.

o   Boys Baseball versus Rio at 5:00 pm.

 

·         There will be an Operation Click presentation in the lecture center on Friday during FAST for all High School Students.  Students will be dismissed from their FAST classes.

 

·         History Club members who are setting up the museum exhibits tomorrow will have a meeting during FAST TODAY!  ALL participants are asked to attend. Permission slips for the event are due TODAY by 3:00 pm to Mrs. Soplanda. No permission slip- no participating in the event.

 

·         See Mrs. Soplanda if you are interested in being a History Club Officer  for the 2018-19 school year or want to nominate someone for a position. Election forms must be filled out and returned to Mrs. Soplanda by April 20th. Elections will be held the first week in May. Anyone who wishes to help with the election - see Mrs. Soplanda.

 

·         There will be a rep from UW-Green Bay here today at 10:00 am. Please see Mrs. Anderson for a pass if interested.

 

·         Prom Tickets are on sale today at lunch! If you want dinner, you MUST buy your ticket this week. Table suggestions must be completed when you buy your ticket, so plan ahead!  Tickets are $45 per person. Guest Forms for Prom are available in the office.

 

·         8th Graduation Speech Opportunity: This year, the opportunity to speak at your 8th grade graduation ceremony will be open to anyone in the class! If you would like be considered for this opportunity, you will need to:

o    Complete a short form to indicate your interest

o    Submit a draft of your speech by Friday, April 20th

 

All speeches will be reviewed, and the winner will be selected by a staff committee based on the quality of their speech, academic performance, and leadership. The speaker will be announced in early May.
